This half term, year 3 will be finding out about Seurat and Pointillism. The will look at the painting, A Sunday on the Grande Jatte in detail. They will explore how Seurat used colours and will experiment with using felt tips, ear buds and fine paint brushes to practise their pointillist skills. They will then create their own pointillist artwork and then reflect on how they used colour. They will also express their opinions about his work giving reasons.
